So what I think I know is(correct me if I'm wrong): OZ Messenger sends via SMS.

What I would like to know is: Do any other instant messengers send via SMS?

Also, I know Media Net offers OZ, but does any place on the net have it for download to PC? I ask because I do not have a data plan, and I am assuming it requires a data plan to connect to Media Net?

I don't have an answer to your 1st question, but OZ will not be a viable option
for you. Yes it uses SMS to send and receive, but it uses data to connect.
