    I keep getting this message when updating "A fatal error has occuring while updating your devices software. Please try again."

    Did you download and install the correct OS. That is, the OS for the 8320?
    The Os's are device specific.

    Yes I did, I selected 8320 from the dropdown menu and downloaded the multilang..

    I know it seemed like a dumb question, but I had to ask

    Try rebooting your PC and a battery on your phone. When both are back
    up try it again.

    Ok i was reading that i have to delete my 4.2 version on my computer, and yes i deleted the vendor file. Im and gonna try again. (fingers crossed) lol

    Good luck and you DON'T have to delete 4.2 and I would advise you not to.

    If for any reason you need to rollback from 4.5 you will need to reinstall it
    all over again. DM will see the most current OS so it won't harm anything.
