Hey guys I guess i'll just get straight to the point here my blackberry curve 8320's escape key is not functioning right sometimes it will work when I press and sometimes it wont and most of the time that it does work it somehow manages to escape out of any application that I open like SMS Texts and more without me even pressing the escape key. So I was wondering if anyone might have a solution to this I already tried formatting my BB but it don't work so if anyone can help me on this situation I would very much appreciate it.

Welcome to CB. Have you tried a battery pull? With your phone on, remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back in.

Yes I have tried that as well and even if i hold it, it still does nothing

Seems like it's a hardware issue. Try reloading the OS first. If that fails, have the carrier replace it under the warranty rule...

It's a manufacturer warranty.
