So I have been encoding movies for playback on my Curve, but after about 10 seconds on some and 40 seconds on others it will error out or have massive slowdown on the video. I am assuming the Curve doesn't support 29.97 fps so I tried 24 and even 15 but it still slows down.

Does anyone know what frame and bit rate the Curve screen can handle to get smooth play back?

Any help would be appreciated so I can get all these movies re-encoded to watch while I am working.

I've always encoded mine to IPod format and they play just fine.

I use the auto settings for IPod classic on Any Video Converter Professional.

I am using Super and I am encoding using 320x240 video scale size, 528 kbps, and 29.97 fps, mp4 container, divx codec and AAC LC sound. Everything works great except the sound is about a half second off. If someone knows what to tell me why sound is off that would be nice. BTW these settings were for the Sprint 8330.
