    My Verizon Curve became more and more reluctant to synch. More and more hour glass ..... then this morning the only thing it shows is:

    BlackBerry Platform 3.1.0.72

    *Empty*

    Also it now wont be recognized by the BlackBerry Desktop

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    DId you try a battery reset with the unit powered on?

    I think that is what I did. I removed the battery and reinstalled it, then turned it on?

    The device should turn on by its self. Which BB device do you have? 8130 or 8330?
    8130 should have 4.3.0.97 and the 8330 should have 4.3.0.127

    ans is a typo, should be and.

    SInce you have the current software. Since it is ot booting, sound like the OS may have become corrupted. There is a whole section on how to recover a dead Blackerry. I just do not know the link off hand. I am sure someone here will post it.

    If this does not work for you, then I would call VZW and have the device replaced.

    If you can get the current device to boot, then you can also try to remove the desktop manager and re-install it.
