I successfully downloaded/installed the update to 4.5 that was released right from VZW for my 8330. I have Empower, and it was reinstalled during the update. I re-regisrered and now some emails show up in standard Backberry form and some show up with the settings I have requested with Empower

Any thoughts?

With 4.5 you get full HTML e-mail, so Empower really isn't needed. Could be what is causing the conflict...

I have turned off HTML through the email options settings. The phone settings may be trumping the Empower

Empower recommends turning off the HTML, as their software takes over. I prefer the look and color of the Empower over the 4.5 OS but even with all the correct settings (per Empower) I still get a few emails that come in via the 4.5 OS. I have not yet seen a fix or a response from Empower about this.

I am running empower version 3.0.80.7, This will use the empower setting for all email unless there is an attachment. Then it will revert to the native application for that email
