Set up with a "work email"

My father just received a blackberry through work and loves it, except that he is having a problem with his email. If he receives an email, it appears to be deleted from his Blackberry after approx. 24 hours. All emails that he has sent from his BB are still there.

I have looked at his reconciliation, and it is set up the same as with my 8330. I've looked at all the settings that I am aware of, and can not find anything to fix it.

I've tried to search here on CB, but the terms "email" and "delete" return with tons of threads.

If someone can point me in the right direction to fixing this, I would appreciate it very much.

Check in messages, then options under menu. scroll down how long to keep messages, what setting does it have?
