You can remove the signature from the bis website or the email setup on the device...

Login to you BIS, click on Set up BlackBerry Internet Email, and edit the email account. You can change the message in signature box.

There should be a launcher icon on your bb that says email settings. Click on that one...

yeah i did that, but cant find how to change the sig.

it says you can from the device but it doesnt tell you where to go

i must be a total dumb *** because i cant figure this out...

go to email settings icon, click help, change email address info, change display option, about signatures, "to change your signature use email setup application on your devise"

when i do that i am right back where i started from

so what am i missing

You need to do it from a computer. Log onto the VZW BIS on a computer, edit email and the option will be there.
