Hey all,

I got my new Curve yesterday and I'm still tweaking it. I set up my AOL mail for push and so far it seems to be working fine. Problem is, my emails come through both Email AND Messages. How do i get email to only show up in email, not messages? I want to keep emails and texts separate.

go into your messages folder, select options>general settings you will see an option for "SMS and email" the default is for them to be combined and you can change it to seperated

Good Question. I like to do the same but I think I got the email and the messages separated when they come in though it tells me when I get a txt or email and if email, I get both boxes.

i get all my email(hotmail and *@vzw.blackberry.net) in messages folder but email doesnt go to the respective email folder. also no messages i send have gotten out. any clues??

I tried (did ) this:

But I just sent myself an email from outlook and the BB still is coping the emails into the messages folder as well. I even did a batery pull but no help. Any other ideas???

Emails still will go to the messages icon, the SMS wont, they will go to thier own box if you have them seperated, I just hide the [email protected] box and use my messages icon for emails.
