So I have gmail as an email account set up on my Curve - now when I get mail, I get alerted, but as I'm writing out emails via my gmail account (from a computer), I get those alerts as well - any idea as to how to shut that off?
I don't need to know when I'm sending out email obviously...
keep in mind, though, that if you add a filter then you will not be able to email yourself. i dont know if you do that often, but i email myself sometimes, so now (since i've set up the filter to avoid getting the email i sent) i have to email myself from another email address.
