I've been using blackberry for the past two or three years now. Never had any big problems but now I'm back on an older one, the 8330 curve, and I can't receive my emails. If I send an email to myself I will receive it. I don't get any other email. I've restarted, registered in hosting routers, and looked at all the email settings they look fine. If someone could help me out that would be great. I'm leaving in a couple days for a week and would like to be able to get my emails while I'm gone without having to go to the website in the browser. Thanks

Did you try a battery pull? When the phone is on, pull out the battery, leave it out for 30 seconds, then put it back in. Then see if it works. If not, you can always reinstall your OS, that will solve every problem.

Yes, battery pull is what I meant by restarted. I updated the OS yesterday when I got the phone. Could it be from that?

Which OS did/do you have? Usually fresh installs of OS solves your old problems instead of introducing new ones.

Since you just updated your phone and probably don't have everything all set up already, I would wipe the phone and reinstall the OS again. Or wait for someone else to see if they know a solution to this issue.

Have you tried just deleting the email account from your phone and then re-adding it?
