You know when you were young and you played your radio too loud and cracked the cone in the speaker. The sound becomes crackled and poor. My Curve sounds like that. Not the speakerphone but the ear piece. I use a bluetooth headset most of the time. It is just every once and a while that I will use the built in ear piece, and I never have the volume turned way up. I am on my 2nd Curve and have experienced this problem with both. Anybody have the same experience?
ive never had a problem with my earpiece per se, i do though admit that blackberries dont have the best earpieces in them. but if it is that noticable it cant be a good thing, so i would say try and return it if you still are in the timeframe.
