I have my POP3 account forwarded to my @carrier.blackberry.net account so that I can get e-mail instantaneously. I've setup this account to reply using my POP3 account since I do not want others to see the blackberry account.

However, in order to be able to create a new message from this POP account, I need to keep it linked to my BB.

This causes me to receive emails twice -> Ones that are forwarded instantaneously and then the copy from the original POP3 whenver it pulls it.

Is there a way not to receive email twice but still able to compose from the POP account?

I suppose creating a filter on the BIS would work out fine for you. Disregard that it says gmail, it will work for other mail. I have all my emails filtered out
