IF a battery reset casue the device to recieve memory again it might be a memory issue with your deivce. Next time this happens, please look at your file and post the number here. ALways feel free to also try the red link in my signature.
One Other thing you may want to try is to log in to your BIS account from your carrier and delte the email source and re- create it.

I have aol set up as one of my email accounts and its always delayed. I believe the issue lies more with that kind of email account rather then the phone. I could be wrong but its always delayed for me.
if i go into manage connections-service status and then look down at ''blackberry enterprise server'' it shows as not connected

Vodafone said the Blackberry server was last updated on the 15/10
File free (after reset) 16680032 Bytes
Exactly after the reset need to know what it is before the reset. I have also seen issues liike this if you have too much mail in your account. Get rid of AOL and get GMAIL much better anyway.
I have lots of problems with AOL servers. I still bet since the battery reset fixes it it is your memory.
this was happening to me. after working with TMO and RIM for about an hour, they diagnosesed my bb with a corrupt database. i had to delete all email messages (HL todays date, delete prior) and delete/recreate my service books. emails are working (sending/receiving) flawlessly now.
