So I was bored at 3am and was surfing CrackBerry and found this download program that is suppose to change the color of your trackball. I paid the $6.95 and downloaded it. Only to discover later that it only works on Pearls, any other BB it will just change the notification light color. So I learned NOT to do those things at 3am because I would've never paid $7 to change my indicator light but what is even more sad is that when I turn it on and change the color, the light never stops blinking, even when I clear all my messages.

Sorry but it's true - Only the Pearl 8100 has the LED's behind the trackball that allow this.

I saw that same software and almost bought it until I read the fine print that stated it was for pearls only........

lol yes that almost caught me too when i first got my curve, but i did the trial version and realized it was only the led light not the trackball. so now ima take out my trackball and color the led light w a color sharpie.
