    I had to exchange my Curve today for another and I did a restore with DM. Everything went perfect. All my settings transfered over but now I have several icons for the same program. Any idea how to get rid of them?

    You can hide them. You might want to check and see if you have 2 of each program in your applications list if so delete one.

    I did hide them, but they are RIM apps like the browser. I am afraid to delete those.

    Just out of curiosity..

    Have you even tried pulling the battery out?

    I can't believe I didn't try that. I did use Soft Reset though. Is that the same? Pulling the battery now..........

    Googling found one solutions. Delete the "BlackBerry internet browsing service" service book.

    If I delete this will it automatically restore if I do a battery pull?
