Hi there have tried to install desktop manager ( versions 4.5 4.6 ) but having problems and get an error ,that says that a problem with media manger , downloading version 4.6 w/o media manager see if this works , what app can i use to transfer & manage files , if i do not install media manger ? thanks

You can use Media Sync instead of the media manager in DM.

You can drag and drop pics, ringtones, and music directly to your card. Go to options > media card > and set mass storage mode to on. Hook up your BB to your PC and windows will recognize it as a removable drive. Then you can drag and drop files to the appropriate locations on you card.

Media Sync is great for syncing playlists so your music will be organized in the music player on your BB.
