    when i download apps to my comp and try to use the blackberry desktop manager i keep getting errors because every file is a .jad ... can i use .jad files or how do i get them on my blackberry.. i read the 101 series couldnt find anything....

    I believe .jad files are OTA only. Meaning you can only download them via blackberry. I know all of the applications I install via Desktop Manager are .alx and .cod files.

    well how do get them on my blackberry?? i have wanted to try a few apps and been looking for this answer for a month but i cant find it... i have no probs with the .alx obvisously but need to figure out how to do the .jad files...

    What I usually do is copy the download link, then either manually type it in your BB browser or, email it to my blackberry via my computer. I'm sure there's an easier way, but that's the way I do it.

    Yeah, copy the link on your computer then email it to yourself. Open the email with your BB, then click on the link.
