I just dumped the blackberry storm.. cool phone but too much of a headache to do the simple things sometimes.. not worth it! at least yet... well anyway.. I just got the curve today (8330). Ive notice a couple times today that my email and text messages delete themselves.. I've gotten about 20 emails today and i just looked in my inbox and only the first 4 emails that i got today are there... Has anyone had this issue?? I love this phone... sooooo much better than the storm. (i went thru 2 of them) but i want to resolve this issue so any input would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

Usually means that the file free is too low... Check the 101 and threads about optimising memory.

Check your file free Options > Status. If it's over 12MB there's probably another reason this is happening.

Also check your options to see if the auto delete is checked.

It has to be the auto delete. There's no way an 8330 with 96 mb of memory could be that low already.

It may seem far fetched but all it would take is a couple songs in addition to some apps and that will fill the 96 mb fast.

Possibly your computer downloading them off of the server. I have my computer on all the time and sometimes it does an auto send/receive and takes the emails off the server. They also go away from my blackberry unless i saved them.
