Delete my SMS/MMS and emails from my Curve. They are pileing up and I dont know if I should delete them or will they delete automatically? I know this was a problem on my other phone (PPC 6800).

They will not delete automatically unless you start running low on memory and then your BB will start deleting them to free up space.

Probably simplier to delete them as you go.

highlight a date in your messages list and click menu> delete prior...

everything from before that date is gone...

You can set how long you want to keep messages on your BB. Go to your messages folder or an email inbox, press menu > options > general options. You can change Keep Messages to anything you want. I would not recommend to keep them forever. I have mine set to 30 days.

It's good to clear out unwanted items regularly, I do.

No I dont want to keep them forever. I just wanted to know if I had to do maintenence on the folders. I just swithced it to 15 days. Thanks everyone for your quick responses!
