My phone log and message tend to just dlete themselves for no reason at no particular time. Anyone have any ideas why this coul be happeningand what could do to fix it?

MANY MANY other forums about this subject. this is a memory issue and happens when your device runs out of memory. If you do not have an sd card you shuld get one this will help.

Take a look around here lots of great info on this with links on how to manage the memory

The reason is you are running low on memory
options > status File free should not be less
tha 12,xxx,xxx

Do a battery pull and recheck memory
