I want to be able to make outbound calls and selectively block my number being sent on certain outgoing calls.

I have a blackberry 8300 curve on the vodafone network here in Australia, but cannot find where to enable to disable this feature

some network carriers (at&t) allow this at no extra charge. call your network provider and see if they can do the same.

I've been looking through my 8310 and can't find the 'Hide Number' setting. If memory serves me right, you can put #31# before the number to hide your number.

While in the phone application, click on menu. Select options, then general options, then under "restrict my identity", select always. Your number will be blocked when you make calls.
