I know that you can set up special ringtones for certain people in your contacts when they call you. I want to set up a different ringtone for certain numbers when they SMS text me. Is this possible?
I follow a few people on Twitter, and I want the ringtone that plays for text messages to be different for Twitter messages as opposed to other text messages.
Sorry buddy, just set it to some tight ringtone that you really like...trust me that is a question that is asked often and many people wish they could set different ones for different people...i'm thinking one day there will be an app for that.
On the higher OS of the Storm you can set custom alerts for contacts, but on the 8330 you cannot. You would have to create new profiles for each contact and set exceptions in order to have specific alerts for specific contacts.
