What is the difference between keyboard lock and standby?
I've been reading there are apps I can install like Auto Standby and Auto Lock btu not sure which I want?

keyboard lock does just that. standby puts the device into a low power mode while locking the keyboard at the same time but without having to do a "two button combo" or password to unlock it. plus, in keyboard lock mode, the screen will still light up if the keys are pressed... thus consuming more battery power if the device is accidentally activated. standby prevents this as the keyboard is deactivated while in standby mode.
you can activate standby by pressing and holding the mute button on top of the device for 2 seconds. take it out of standby by pressing the same button.
