Under Media Player options, there is a Device Memory Limit option. I was wondering if I set that to 15MB (the highest option) will my Media Player operate more quickly / better?

No it wouldn't, if you have a media card installed set it to the lowest..

So even though I use Media Player more than any other app, I should set it to 5MB? Sorry if I am a little dumb on this issue, but I want to the media player to operate better than anything else, even if it slows other apps down. What would I set it to then? (I do have a 8GB Class 6 MicroSDHC card in there as well.)

Set it to 5mb, and make sure you have all your media contents and pics going to your memory card.
