Just got a replacement 8310 with v4.5.0.110. won't link up to old desktop manager. Anyone know what newest version of desktop manager is and where do i find? THANKS

Actually, 4.7 has been known to have some problems, so seems the recommendation lately is 4.6, without Media Manager.

What problems are there with 4.7? I asked because my wife is getting her Curve today. I have the Storm and use 4.7. I really don't want two different desktop managers because I am sure there will be a conflict.

Well as far as problems I don't know. But I do know, or think, that you can't have two DM's running at the same time.
You could use 4.7 with the Curve. It's what I have.
But like I said I don't know what the "problems" are.

There have been issues with Curve users trying to upgrade the OS using DM 4.7. The upgrade doesn't go or show up. Switching to 4.6 solves the problem.
