No serial number will show up when I plug in my curve. Had version 4.6, so I un-installed it and put on version 4.7. Same problem. The computer sees the blackberry as it asks me if I want to enable the mass storage device.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Did a reboot with the install of V7.6. Still nothing. Have to look for the CD. Still have it somewhere.

    Go to your DM>Options>Connection Options

Verify the type of connection, USB.

Soft reset your BB, ALT+R SHFT+DEL

Try all the USB plugs you have available,

Then a hard reset, same as soft, but once you see the screen come back up hit the key combo again.

then load just the AppLoader by iteself not trough the DM by going to

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

    Loader.exe

And see if it will connect.

Then if still not working, try another PC's, friends, work PC etc...

Was it ever working, or did you upgrade/reinstall your OS, PC or BB, and not it doesnt work??

Tried everything and the apploader can't detect a working port. It work when I first installed it a few months ago. ARGH!!!! Now what..... My desktop manager at work gives me an error when it tries to sync. I now have to back up my calender, transfer it to my laptop, then let it sync with the only desktop manager which works. Anymore ideas?

    Thanks
