    Go to any date in the list or the top of the list hit the menu button then select delete prior

    SMS message list > Hover to the top of the page > Menu button > Delete Prior.

    Same goes for Email.

    If you don't want to delete all the prior ones, hold down the shift button and move the trackball. It will highlight where you move. Then hit menu and delete the selection.

    Hit "T" and it will take you to the top of the page. Then hit Menu and select Delete Prior.
