Using Red Book (medical text) and it quit out on me. Icon is dead and cannot open program. I can uninstall then reinstall the program, but apparently must also remove data files from within the open program to completely uninstall..therein lies the problem. Any ideas? As a last ditch effort, I can wipe my device clean and then install a 10 day old backup, but this seems kind of extreme.

That's about all you can do....did you try alt + lglg and clearing all memory? That's a shot in the dark but maybe worth a try

Tried that trick, after deletion application and its associated module. Did a battery-pull restart, reloaded the app, and the icon still won't open. Ideas, before I resort to a clean wipe and reinstall an old backup?
