So far it has been a pleasure to transition from the treo world to the new curve, Im very happy , it has been pretty seamless and no problems yet. The curve seemed like the logical choice to progress in my list of owned smart phones. treo 600 , upgraded to the 650, ditched the treo and moved on to a 8125 and finally ended up using a 8525 for the last year, time came to pick up a new toy and I was giving serious thought to going with the 8925 tilt when one of my co workers talked me into getting the 8310 curve (titanium). So far the only downside is the lack of free software for the berry, seems like the windows platform and the palm platform offered tons of third party freeware, but as I mentioned before I was pretty impressed with how easy it was to set up, popped in the sim along with a 4 gb micro sd card loaded with ringtones and movies and pictures from the 8525 (fyi the movie format I used on my treo also played on the 8925 and amazingly plays on the curve - I have been using dvd to ipod convertor for the last 3 years and it makes movies for the smartphones in less than 40 min when ripping from a dvd. So in closing I just wanted to say hi to everyone and I look forward to all the great posts in this group.
Congrats on the new Berry and welcome to CB. I used to have a Treo 650 then I got a BB 8703e then a pearl 8130 and now a curve 8330. You'll love the curve I Highly doubt you'll go back

I too am on day 3 with my Curve, and I must say I am blown away with the capabilities of this thing. I sold my iPhone cuz I didn't like the lack of RF and was holding out for the Bold, but after lurking in this forum for a few weeks, I had to get a BB for myself, and I wish I did it sooner!
