    I am trying to back up my 8330 (boost os 5.xxx.438) and desktop manager freezes when backing up BBM data.

    Any thoughts?

    let it go longer? mine seems to hang up when it gets to the BBM stuff, but after a minute or so, it picks back up.

    it's been sitting for 1/2 an hour, should I be scared?

    you can do an advanced back-up in desktop manager, and select everything BUT bbm. make sure you do a wireless backup in bbm first.

    what disk? the desktop manager disk? you can download DM from blackberry.com
