The Curve will have a Camera, Sprint TV, Sprint Radio, Sprint Music Store. That's pretty much it.

I have both.. 8830 on Sprint and also a 8320 I use while traveling.. Thought the "world edition" would take care of me traveling, but the dual band GSM is spotty in some places, so I got the 8320 which is more GSM friendly.
As far as differences between the phones (other than those already mentioned), the curve will actually have a camera, which I missed on my 8830. Typing is slightly different on each, but is basically a user preference. Curve is much lighter too.
If I'm not mistaken, the 8330 will not have wi-fi, which is something I like with the 8320.
In my opinion, I love both.. but I'd probably give the new curve a shot!

on a side note.. I'm about to leave sprint for a gsm carrier anyway and probably spend some cash on the 9000.. between 3G and WiFi I think i wont miss Sprint's EVDO speeds

In my opinion the Curve is just much more laid back and chill. Whereas the 8830 is more of a suit and tie kind of device. Besides it never hurts to have a camera handy.
