My brother's Blackberry Curve is acting up.
I even played around with it. When composing an SMS text, the 'trackball menu' pops up and the 'send' is highlighted (as always) BUT the message proceeds to send--even without pressing down on the trackball again.
We can't get very far in typing a text message before it sends out; sometimes, only 2 letters are inputted before the SMS automatically sends.
We tried 2 battery pulls.
The Berry is still under warranty; is our best bet to take it back to to our service provider?
Is the menu button only acting up in the sms menu? My thought is perhaps the button is stuck, or something was poured into the keyboard ind is causing the button to stick, or the contacts to get dirty. I can't think of another reason to cause this. You can try to wipe the BB and start over. Or take it back if still under warranty.
