Why does my phone keep saying radio is off restore connection. I have to restore connection to make a phone call. Also, I follow the directions at http://http://forums.crackberry.com/...updated-53201/to backup my info. This will not work for me. I cannot find nothing in my computer and something keeps coming up to connect new device.

The link in your post doesn't work.

Make sure your battery isn't low on charge or the radio will be turned off automatically to save on battery drain.

Your other problem sounds like you were using the Device Switch wizard, not the Backup/Restore function.

The link should redirect you. I can't get the link to work. But the directions say to use dsw. Also, the battery is fully charged.

To Rob: It sounds to me like your computer doesn't have the BB drivers installed. There is a file somewhere on blackberry.com of just the drivers, link: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...00E456C4A49EB6

Try installing that. If the link doesn't work, google "Blackberry USB and modem drivers" and it's the first result.

The link still doesn't work, but I see that you were trying to do a 3rd party backup.

You need to leave the last pop-up window open, don't click cancel or next, whatever it is, till you do a search on your PC.

The key is, you have to search Hidden files using the Advanced search function on your computer.

You can also backup third party applications using BBSAK. It's easier than using the other procedure.
