Is there any possible way to get a tone reminder rather than the LED flashing light as a reminder that I missed a call, have a voicemail, message, appointment, etc.

I looked and looked through the phone and I'm not having any luck.

I think I miss my Motorola.

I have a 8100...but this might help

scroll down to "profiles" and press the trackball
then when the list comes up scroll all the way to the bottom where it says "advanced".
then from there scroll to "normal" and press the menu button (those lil dots)
and press "edit"
that will bring up another screen... select "phone"

from there it will bring up the final screen, scroll down to "repeat notification" and change it from "LED Flashing"

This might work...not tooo sure.. I just got my blackberry yesterday

If only there was a "tone" option. Curve 8330 offers "LED Flashing" or "None."

Does anyone know if using a 30 minute long MP3 as a ring tone would work to effectively have a 90 minute long reminder alert? This whole "3 beeps" business is for the birds.
