I was looking at real estate podcasts and radio stations online. Now my phone is downloading something. It has been downloading something all day and I don't know what it is. I have pulled battery 3 times rebooted. Browser definitely closed. Its slowing me down and killing my battery. Not sure what else I can do. Any ideas?

Mine was doing that a few weeks back.
Maybe not the right solution but I upgraded the OS and it stopped.

hit alt -esc (right of the trackball) and see what apps are open. The five you should see are messages, browser, home screen, bbm and phone. If you see any others close them.... See if that helps - is facebook installed?

I have os 4.5 and only the programs that should be running are. I have no facebook or anything like that on my phone. Everything is off and its still downloading something.

i just made a thread with the same issue. i'm hoping it's a RIM thing and it'll go away soon.

Those are the only programs running. No facebook running.I have os 4.5. No extra pfograms running. But still downloading as we speak.
