My 8330 camera displays images in either red, green, or blue that is like looking at infra-red images. Ive removed the battery and the display sometimes shows a normal image when I roll the trackball. Has anyone sen this problem and how can it be fixed? My 8330 is only 2 months old.

    Thank you.

Go in your camera then hit menu>options and make sure the setting for color effect is set to normal.

If your color effects are normal, there's something wrong with the camera. Hopefully you can go and get it replaced. I had this same exact problem and it wasn't any setting, but the camera itself.

It may be an OS issue. I had a similar problem at one time. When I upgraded my OS, the camera was back to its normal self.

Color effect IS set to Normal yet the problem persists. My OS version is 4.3.0.127. If upgrading the OS helps then how to do so?
    Thanks friends!

Go to the store and ask for the Manager. They will be able to take care of you...

and for the record, refurbs aren't bad. they are pre-owned, but are just as good as brand new ones

Ill go to my local Verizon store who sold me the phone and see if theyll exchange it. Seems to be the easiest and most direct course of action. Thanks for the helpful tips.

Just make sure you ask to speak with a manager not a tech for the exchange. the manager can have greater pull for a NIB.
