I re-installed windows on my PC and forgot to save my previous backups. My phone works fine, but I was going to upgrade to 4.5 finally and everytime I try to backup my berry, it gets stuck here. THe first pic is with DM 4.7, then I unistalled that and used my CD that I got with the phone which ios DM 4.3 I get stuck here both times. And by stuck there, I mean for 45 minutes it just sits, the bar never moves. I've done backups before and it took no time at all. What is my problem?

Then when I finally decide to cancel,. it won't and I have to end the program.

You're still on DM 4.3?? I would try downloading 4.6 or 4.7. That might do the trick. Had a similar problem with my ex-curve and updated my DM and everything was fine and dandy after that.

The Trusted Key Store contains certificates.

Options / Security / Key Stores:

Any sites that require a certificate will prompt you, but it not in common use for BIS supported devices.

If there is any chance of recovering a backup from your old computer, do it for insurance. You can use selective restore to overwrite the corrupt key store then try your full backup again.

Crap, there is no chance because I reformatted my hard drive and just installed windows xp from scratch, so there is no way I can get that old back up file.

Is there any hope left for me?

I just want to upgrade to 4.5 without loosing all my caledar and contact entries.

If I go that route what will happen once I try to upgrade? Will this key Store cause any problems? Or will an upgrade fix it?
