I love the feature where in a Contact view, you can roll over a phone number and hit the green Call button, or click the trackball and select "Call (Home, Work, etc.)" and the phone will switch to phone mode and dial the number.
Except that quit working on my phone. Now when I select that Call option from the menu, or click on a phone number in an email or SMS message, or hit the green button with the cursor over a phone number, the phone just switches to the Call Log screen and stares at me.
The only thing that I can think of is that I backed-up and then immediately restored my data yesterday using Desktop Manager.
Does anybody know of a menu item somewhere that controls/enables this feature?
Try removing your battery (with the phone on) for a few seconds, then put it back. That will force the phone to reboot and will probably restore your missing functionality.
