I put facebook for blackberry onto my phone yesterday and shortly after all of my contacts are missing from address book.

Do you have a backup on your pc that you can restore from? You can also try a battery pull to see if that fixes the issue.

No backup on pc and have tried pulling the battery with no success.

Ive never seen it remove the contacts by putting facebook ON the phone. Its happened to me by removing facebook with the phone and not the DM. Hopefully you have a back up

Try removing the facebook app and see if they come back. I know people have been having wierd problems with the facebook app since facebook upgraded their page. Also you could try going into your contacts, hitting the blackberry button and selecting filter. Make sure nothing is checked there.

Removed facebook and no filters are checked and still no contacts.

The problem is when facebook syncs with the contacts. Theres a bug and Im surprised it havent been fixed yet. Its been there for quite some time.

I think that's when mine were lost, is there a way to get them back with out having a back up?
