Hello!
im going to buy a Curve 8320 to use with a operator that doesnt have an BB agreement, i know i know. im an *****. dont flame me please

im wondering, will i be able to use the wifi even tho im not on a bb data plan? with apps like opera mini, gmail client etc. my operator has support for UMA tho, if that does any difference.

Don't worry I am doing the same thing right now... But I have a mobile plan that allows to me to do a few things online. Depending who your service provider is they will either allow or block the wi-fi. But if you can I'd get a data plan. I just got my bb 5 days ago and I'm craving for a data plan, only thing that's stopping me is the ridiculous costs rogers has. To answer your question about the apps, I can use everything except the bb messenger. Hope that helps
