So fellow Curve owners, I'm curious as to who is going to try and sell their Curve to get the 8310, who will buy one outright, or if anyone really cares? I feel it's a step in the right direction I just really with it had wi-fi (like the 8820) What are everyones thoughts?

just drove off with my 8300 with it sitting on top of my car...it took a beating.....so forsure once the 8310 is in stores then its time to UPGRADE!

i wonder if they added some other color LED's for the trackball cuz changing the trackball color would be kinda koo like how the 8100 does it already

Does anybody know how true the rumors are that the 8310 is coming out 9/24?

I've got to say, I bought my 8300 just a couple of weeks ago, and am a little ticked off that the new model (with GPS) is coming out so soon.

The only thing is that I don't really know who to be mad at...just myself, I guess. I want to be mad at at&t somehow...

You'd think the easy thing to do would be to just turn in my phone w/i the 30 days and wait for the 8310...but (a) in an unfortunate turn of events, my Curve ended up with a small dent in the rubber by the headphone plug so I doubt I can return it and (b) I don't know for sure that the 8310 will launch in Sept.

If the release date is indeed 9/24, I may try to return my 8300 before the 30 days (9/22); wait a couple days, then get the 8310.

It's a sick world I tell you. Got my Curve 2 months ago. I feel the same way, however GPS was not my only gripe, I would really like wi-fi as well, and hope a Curve will be released with those features. GPS is nice, but I can wait on that until they add wi-fi. I might even take the plunge and get the 8820. We'll see.

I have a Curve 8310 coming Monday (it is in Customs as of this evening according to my supplier). I bought it because, well, hey, I can! And I can't wait. It should be in my hands on Monday here in Australia. Woo Hoo!

Do post your thoughts on it! Even though it's pretty much the same plus GPS as far as I know.

Well, I got my 8310 today and am just starting setup this eveing. Kids are in bed, the missus is out and I can play. I will post some thoughts in the next few days. It is a nice pice of gear. The only observation I have so far is that the trackball is a bit loose. Is that a common problem with the Gen 2 phones?
