well today i got a curve 8310 from ATT.. but the only part that sucks.. i cant record videos...i was doing some search and people were saying i can download the application.. i was wondering if anyone can help me on get in it... thanks for your time
There is a sticky at the top of the curve 83xx section here in the forums that breaks down the newest OS for each of the different curves, click the thread for your model and there should be a link in there.
Right above your post is a sticky that says Newest 8310 OS. Click on that sticky and follow the instructions therein. I too am new to BBs but I was able to upgrade to the new OS via the sticky. If you're still not comfortable doing it, ask your questions and someone more knowledgeable than me will come by soon and answer you. You will need a microSD card if you don't have one already, for the video feature to work after you upgrade the OS. Good luck. This site is full of BB masters.

You will DEFINITELY want someone more knowledgeable then me. I just know where to get it and what it does. But as far as trying to properly install it and the procedures to fall, I'm clueless.
