I posted this in the general discussion thread earlier and now realize it should have been posted here. I apologize for those of you that see it in both places!!
Does the internal GPS on the 8310 remain on constantly and provide a location for use with 911 or does it only update location when I go into options and update GPS? I am not subscribed to Telenav so this question is only related to standard use of the device. I previously had a Razr phone which had the option of keeping the locator on or turning it off but I have found no such option on the 8310 so I am curious if an emergency locator exists on this device.
