I am sure that I am missing something very simple....but how do I paste something that I have copied? I have OS 4.3 on BB 8330. Thank you.

Once you have it copied, go to where you want to paste it. To paste it, simply press Menu and select Paste.

^^ or in many situations clicking the trackball also generates a Paste function.

That's what I thought I should do, but no "paste" command shows up when I press either menu key or trackball.

Wow, I'm afraid I'll have to wait until someone else comes along with an answer. You *are* first copying something to the clipboard, right? :-)

The standard answer here seems to be to do a battery pull with the device on, wait 30 seconds and replace, but I have no idea if that might fix the problem.

Once you have copied it, or what I do, is hit the trackball, there is a paste line in there

OK. I really am a newbie. I didn't actually select anything when I hit select and then copy. Hence, there was nothing to paste. I got it now. Thanks for replies!!

That would be the simplest way of getting it to work! I was scratching my head trying to figure why you had no Paste option.

I just use shift and roll the trackball over what I want to copy, then trackball *copy*

No. For example, at the end of an appointment another appointment is set on the same subject/location at the same time, but a later date. I don't want to lose the original appointment from my calendar so simply changing the date won't suffice. Copying all the contents of an appointment and pasting to a different day would set a new appointment and allow me to keep the record of the first.
