    So do I need to completely deleted the 4.7 software and then install 4.5 before I use my curve? I have a great deal of music and pictures that I dont want to lose but not sure what to do here.

    yes you have to dowgrade from 4.7 to 4.5. But if you swap BB on DM you will still have all you music ad things

    so do a swap device on the DM even using the 4.7 and then erase the 4.7 and download 4.5? is that correct?
