    Let's compile a list of all the free and subscription navigation software programs, the functions and advantages/disadvantages of each, so newbies like me have a one stop shop for identifying which program is right for them.

    Leave your opinions on as many navigation software programs as you've got experience with, and I will update this post with a description and review of each, compiling all the responses in the thread.

    Disadvantages:Once in a while gets recalc wrong.

    I agree regarding Amaze GPS, but note that they are about to release a new version (4.2) that is supposedly much faster and has even more features.

    There is a dedicated GPS forum right here on CB. Although that forum moves slower than this one you might have more luck over there.

    What is needed, is not available. What is needed is a stand-alone GPS application with local maps stored on in a folder on the media card. Until we get this, imho GPS on the curve will be a poor relation application.

    I was so pi$$ed off with it that I bought a TomTom.

    I was using Nav4All this weekend and the were some others features I thought were pretty nice.
    Remember my parking space - great at shopping centers.
    Setting for travel type (i.e. Car, Pedestrian, etc.)
    Auto Day/Night profile
