    My wife has the old curve 8330 from Verizon. I want to give her my old verizon storm 1. I see the 8330 doesn't have a sim card to switch out so how do I transfer her phone number and contacts/data to the storm 1?

    Verizon doesnt use SIM cards since they are CDMA. The easiest way is to use device switch wizard on desktop manager.
