    Is there a way to change the color of my led? Right now it blinks red for new msg and green for low battery? I thought this could be changed somewhere under options...
    Thanks

    Does BB Alerts affect battery life? I used to have a sidekick and downloaded a program to change the notification color and with it always running in the background it killed my battery. Any one have any issues with BB Alerts?

    I have had no ill effects from BBalerts, it can be a little tricky setting it up. Great app all in all...

    These are the standard settings:

    GREEN = BB turned off, on the charger, with a FULL battery
    AMBER = Low Battery
    RED = New Notification

    BB Alerts can change these (as others said)
    BeeJive allows you to change the LED when you receive IMs to which ever color you choose.
