I upgraded to 4.5 and I really love it but I've noticed that since I upgraded I can't view any of my email attachments anymore. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a bug in the BETA?

Go to options > advanced > applications and see if Blackberry Attachment Service is there. If it isn't, connect you BB to your PC, open desktop manager, put a check in it's box and step your way through to finish.

I also cannot open attachments. I went under options and the Blackberry attachment service is there. Any thoughts?

I'm in Desktop Manager's Application Loader but the attachment service is nowhere to be found. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!!

Applications Manager sees what you currently have installed on your device. If you have deleted Attachment Manager, it will not appear on that list.

Did you do your own device upgrade? If so, there should be a copy of the OS registered.

It it does not look like this, you do not have the device OS installed.

Okay, this makes total sense now! What happened is that I upgraded to 4.5 on my old computer. I got a new computer and re-installed the desktop manager but didn't know I had to do anything with the phone's OS. Do I need to download OS 4.5 again?

    Yes.

In order to re-load apps or make other significant changes to the OS, you install a local copy.

If you still have the 80 Mb file on the old computer, you might be able to transfer it to the new one. That will save you about 30 min in downloading time.
